摘要: Insulinomas are rare, mostly benign neuroendocrine tumors, originating in 99% of cases from the pancreas, that synthesize and secrete insulin, causing symptomatic hypoglycemia. Today treatment choice is surgical removal. We present case an 84-year-old woman with a insulinoma who refused surgery was treated arterial embolization using trisacryl gelatin microspheres as definitive treatment.
