摘要: Objective. The endocrine system plays an important role in the adaptation to hypoxia. The aim of this study is assess effect chronic hypoxia on changes a neonatal animal model mimicking cyanotic heart disease. Methods. Sprague–Dawley rats were placed normobaric hypoxic environment at birth and oxygen levels maintained 10% airtight Plexiglas chamber. Controls remained room air. Animals sacrificed 4 8 weeks life. Hematocrit, Free T4 (FT4), Thyrotropin (TSH), corticosterone, Growth hormone (GH) measured.
