摘要: Children with congenital heart disease (CHD) have associated extracardiac co-morbidities at the time of surgery and during ongoing growth development. Perioperative events include disrupted glucose homeostasis, capillary leak, fluid retention. The hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal (HPA) axis has an important role in homeostasis that secretion cortisol contributes to response stress, regulation, blood volume control, immune regulation. We investigated diurnal rhythm HPA infants CHD by measuring salivary morning (0600–0900 h—circadian peak) evening (2100–2400 nadir). Twenty-nine aged 12 weeks 1 year were included: 16 acyanotic (SpO2 ≥ 90 %) 13 cyanotic < %). Morning was similar between two groups [acyanotic 7.0 nmol/L (1.8–23.1); 9.7 (0.9–15.6); p = 0.68]. Evening 0.9 (0.2–8.5); 1.4 (0.5–14.9); 0.32]. Both demonstrated intact rhythm. In conclusion, chronic hypoxia secondary does not affect circadian axis. By age, a normal
