摘要: Three cone snail species (Conus ebraeus, C. leopardus, tessulatus, family Conidae) have been investigated for their sterolic fraction. Besides cholesterol, 5α,8α-epidioxycholest-6-en-3-β-ol has isolated from each and the structure determined using two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance. The occurrence of in high amounts crude extract (0.5%), constitutes an interesting source this compound.
