摘要: Metabolites are the essential substrates for epigenetic modification enzymes to write or erase blueprint in cells. Hence, availability of nutrients and activity metabolic pathways strongly influence enzymatic function. Recent studies have shed light on choreography between metabolome epigenome control immune cell differentiation function, with a major focus histone modifications. Yet, despite its importance gene regulation, DNA methylation relationship metabolism is relatively unclear.
