摘要: Chitwan National Park is surrounded by large settlements of people who exploit the areas where tigers and their prey occur. In this study, we measured associations between abundance tiger with habitat, topographic, predator human disturbance variables, using canonical correspondence analysis. We show that hog deer closely associated tall grassland floodplains, while other ungulate species forests short grasslands. Primates were mainly abundant in riverine mixed forests. Abundances most species, except wild pig, more than open areas, because latter occupied humans livestock. The presence studied was habitat variables. Proximity water holes ungulates primates. There close abundances primates muntjac, possibly these are tolerant adapted to disturbance. However, major negatively As a consequence, has resulted decline lack could result extinction NP. Therefore, terms conservation management park, minimizing wildlife habitats restoration buffer zone forest should be prime objectives.
