摘要: Abstract A Central Composite Design (CCD) of response surface methodology was applied to predict the ecophysiological effects a mixture heavy metals on Lemnaceae ( Lemna gibba ). Specifically, effect Cd, Cr, Cu, Zn, Ni cations L. growth and respective changes in amounts photosynthetic pigments, were studied, results statistically analyzed using JMP 9.0.2 (SAS Institute) software. The analysis aimed at determining most harmful their combined interaction with other metals. All duckweed samples finally, by FT-IR for examining molecular structure. Each metal had distinct physiology. Important interactions also, observed two combinations metals: Cd 2+ /Cr 6+ , Cr /Cu . High correlation found between experimental predicted results, reflected R 2 (coefficient determination). showed that biomass presented number functional groups capable bind ions such as carboxyl, phosphate, amides hydroxide groups.
