摘要: Abstract Varying proportions of Eucalyptus tar derivatives (biopitch and heavy oil), along with castor oil, have been used to synthesize polyurethane coatings. Two-compound polyurethanes obtained using MDI (4,4′-methane diphenyl diisocyanate) DBTDL (dibutyl tin dilaurate) as catalyst, an NCO/OH ratio 1.0. Two coatings systems – a varnish based on oil black paint biopitch. Both were characterized by FTIR, thermogravimetry (TGA) under air nitrogen atmospheres, viscosity Ford cup, thickness, hiding power, adhesion, gloss hardness. Weathering assays carried out in salt spray chamber for 72 h, weather-ometer (WO) (192 h) QUV (192 h). New physical after the (gloss hardness), WO test being harshest one, mainly varnish. The biopitch showed good results assay, presenting anticorrosive properties.
