摘要: Bamboo tar is a natural resource of aromatic polyol obtained from residue by setting or distilling crude bamboo vinegar. In this study, the two-packed polyurethane (PU) coatings were prepared blending and castor oil varying with different weight ratios polymeric toluene diisocyanate (PTDI) was used as hardener at NCO/OH molar ratio 1.0. Six kinds PU formulated viscosity, pot-life, drying time, mechanical properties (hardness, tensile strength, impact resistance, adhesion, abrasion resistance), gel content, durability, lightfastness, FTIR, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), dynamic (DMA) characterized. The results indicated that containing film appearance semitransparent yellow-brown color wood texture could be kept after finishing. All films possessed excellent adhesion well durability. increase in content led to shorten time hardness, thermal stability films. From these due light smell flavor, it suggested tar-based suitable an exterior coatings. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci,
