摘要: Biopitch is a renewable source of polyol ob- tained from Eucalyptus tar distillation, which was studied as an active component polyurethane (PU). The polymeriza- tion occurred in one step, with mixture biopitch and hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene polyols reacted 4-4-diphenyl methane diisocyanate the presence dibu- tyltin dilaurate. Solid-state 13 C-NMR, IR spectroscopy, ele- mental analysis, thermal analysis (thermogravimetric (TGA) differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)) were used to characterize biopitch. sample showed aromatic oxygenated structure great stability at high temperatures. Multiphasic PUs synthesized characterized by spectroscopy (at- tenuated total reflectance), elemental anal- ysis (TGA DSC), mechanical assays (tensile strength, elongation break, toughness, hardness, resilience), water absorption resistance (ASTM D 570-81). In com- parative study elastomers, con- tent increased tensile strength hardness decreased stability, absorption. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 88: 759 -766,
