摘要: In the presence of diphtheria toxin, adenosine diphosphate ribose portion nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide was transferred to aminoacyl transferase II obtained from rat liver. The reaction resulted in a concurrent inactivation this particular enzyme, one supernatant factors which assemble amino acids into polypeptide chain. linkage ADP-ribose appeared be covalent nature. reversible. Diptheria toxin may act as an enzyme or catalytic cofactor reaction.
