摘要: Aims The multi-center SPEED registry evaluated the procedural success and in-hospital clinical outcomes of direct stenting with Svelte ‘all-in-one’ coronary stent Integrated Delivery System (IDS) through diagnostic catheters to identify indications for which this approach is appropriately suited. Methods & results Forty-eight (48) patients 54 lesions lengths ≤20 mm RVD 2.5–3.5 were targeted (4–6F) via radial or femoral approach. Procedural characteristics early in an investigator's experience (28 lesions) compared following (26 lesions). Procedure, device strategy realized (100%), 50 (93%) 46 (85%) lesions, respectively, significantly related (P = 0.05), lesion location (P = 0.01), catheter size (P = 0.05). Significant improvement crossing intervention time trends toward success, reductions procedure radiation contrast use observed. Conclusions Direct using IDS feasible associated good outcomes. This offers attractive option assessing and, depending upon vessel anatomy morphology, continuing ad-hoc interventional treatment same catheter. Improvements efficiencies, based on operator experience, facilitate downsizing reduce time, ancillary product overall costs. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
