摘要: Takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TCM) is a unique type of characterised by left ventricular systolic dysfunction in association with stressful conditions. Patients this condition usually present chest pain and dyspnoea, the presentation can mimic acute coronary syndrome. We case woman aged 58 years who presented progressive dyspnoea cough. Her initial evaluation was suggestive myocardial infarction elevated serum troponin T ST segment elevation. radiograph showed large right-sided pneumothorax, which treated tube insertion. Coronary angiography echocardiogram did not show any evidence obstructive artery disease but area akinesis consistent TCM. The patient managed medically supportive care. pneumothorax resolved, her follow-up also improvement. between TCM rare, only four other cases have been reported so far English literature.
