摘要: In a protected area on the southern coast of South Africa, holts (dens) Cape clawless otter were spaced at intervals 470 m and spraints (faeces) concentrated in vicinity holts. Population density estimates for separate sections close agreement, mean estimate study was one per 1.9 km coast. The minimum home range size an adult female 14.3 coast, 7.5 central section constituting her core area. A radio-tracked male had 19.5 centrally located 12.0 known ranges four males overlapped completely observed foraging together, indicating clan-type social organization.
