摘要: Abstract Adenocarcinoma of the prostate is most common cancer in men. The majority cancers are discovered once they have already metastasized, and there no effective therapy for prostatic at this stage. use cytokine-secreting tumor cell preparations as therapeutic vaccines treatment advanced was investigated Dunning rat R3327-MatLyLu model. IL-2 secreting, irradiated, were capable curing animals with s.c. established tumors, induced immunological memory that protected from subsequent challenge. Immunotherapy less when tumors orthotopically, but nevertheless led to improved outcome, significantly delaying, occasionally preventing, recurrence after resection cancerous prostate. Granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor secreting effective, interferon-γ cells had only a marginal effect. Induction potent immune response bearing against nonimmunogenic MatLyLu supports view active immunotherapy warrants further investigation potential approach cancer.
