摘要: Small nuclear ribonucleoproteins (snRNPs) are crucial for pre-mRNA processing to mRNAs. Each snRNP contains a small RNA (snRNA) and an extremely stable core of seven Sm proteins. The biogenesis pathway is complex, involving export snRNA, Sm-core assembly in the cytoplasm re-import mature snRNP. Although vitro cores assemble readily on uridine-rich RNAs, cells carried out by survival motor neurons (SMN) complex.
