Fifty-three positive cases, fever or history within previous 24 h, included in final evaluation study. Mean time, time 18.2+/-8.6 h 34.6+/-14.3 respectively. Adequate parasitological response achieved 52 rate being 98.1% (95% CI, 91.1-99.9). One patient classified as late failure because reappearance Day 14. well tolerated no adverse reactions detected Since it is a therapy, health workers can administer directly observed treatment.
