摘要: Posttranscriptional modifications of RNA bases are not only found in many noncoding RNAs but have also recently been identified coding (messenger) as well. They require complex and laborious methods to locate, still lack for localized detection. Here we test the ability next-generation sequencing (NGS) detect distinguish between ten modified synthetic RNAs. We compare ultradeep patterns bases, including miscoding, insertions deletions (indels), truncations, unmodified same contexts. The data show widely varied responses modification, ranging from no response, high levels mutations, insertions, deletions, truncations. distinct several modifications, suggest future use a fingerprinting strategy locating identifying cellular
