摘要: The current economic and preceding financial crises seem to provide evidence in favour of the self-destruction thesis capitalism. Responses crisis have been polarised. Some suggest that regulatory changes are all is needed. Others need change system by developing a new global ethic. first too limited, second utopian. This article suggests MacIntyrean virtue ethics approach provides both more convincing diagnosis problem leads workable prescription. First, we understand internal contradictions tradition has developed how ’do‘ business. Then virtues be exercised inside practices institutions. But itself needs institutionalised; an appropriate governance organizations. Even though usually taken ‘crowd out’ virtue, this proposes ‘crowds in’ virtue.
