摘要: Abstract Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) refers to discretionary, nonrequired contributions by members the organizations that employ them. Evidence indicates job satisfaction is more closely related such than productivity in core tasks. Other data suggest personality also likely predict discretionary behaviors rather task productivity. Various typologies and dimensions of OCB have been posited, but most parsimonious structure consists two major dimensions, roughly analogous help support particular persons levels conformity organizational rules. Compelling findings hypothesis unit level indeed predicts various criteria effectiveness. Cross-cultural research has begun proceeding at an accelerating pace, with indications what perceived as varies somewhat across cultures.
