摘要: In any discussion of surgical exposure, it is important to remember that chief importance what done in the operative field, rather than how site exposed. Selection approach based on tradeoffs must be weighed by surgeon and tailored deformity for a given patient. Despite recent surge popularity transconjunctival technique, periorbital surgery cutaneous still valid means access variety esthetic particularly trauma procedures. There are few solid data comparing two approaches, does exist shows little or no significant difference between them. A spares conjunctiva, bypasses transconjunctival-related complications, eliminates need lateral canthotomy access. The subtarsal lid crease incision appears offer benefits orbital rim with respect speed, low incidence malposition, cosmetic scar appearance comparable subciliary incision.
