Spectroscopic properties of Na-fluorescein in polyacrylic acid films

摘要: Abstract Na-fluorescein (NaF), when embedded in thin polyacrylic acid (PAA) films, shows a single absorption band peaking at 444 nm and an emission 505 nm. The quantum yield of fluorescence ( Q f ) the NaF/PAA film is 0.65. These spectroscopic properties NaF PAA films can be attributed to existence neutral zwitterionic form with small percentage cationic within film.
