摘要: Background: Prolonged intensive care unit (ICU) stay of patients after cardiac surgery has a major impact on overall cost and resource utilization. The aim this study was to identify perioperative factors which prolong in ICU. Methods: All adult from single, specialized center who were admitted the ICU during 2-month period included. Demographic clinical characteristics, comorbidities, preoperative use drugs, intraoperative variables, postoperative course recorded. Hemodynamic blood gas measurements recorded at four time intervals first 24 hours. Routine hematologic biochemical laboratory results preoperatively Results: During 145 underwent surgery: 65 (45%) coronary artery bypass graft surgery, 38 (26%) valve 26 (18%) combined 16 (11%) other types operation. Seventy nine (54%) had an less than Random forests analysis identified variables that length (LOS) ICU; these subsequently entered logistic regression model: hemoglobin [odds ratio (OR) =0.68], duration aortic clamping (OR =1.01) arterial oxygen partial pressure inspired fraction (PaO 2 /FiO ) =0.99) glucose hours =1.02). ROC curve showed AUC =0.79, P Conclusions: Low hemoglobin, prolonged low PaO measured within hours, strongly related with LOS
