摘要: AIM: To infect mice with atypical Campylobacter concisus (C. concisus) for the first time. METHODS: Three separate experiments were conducted in order to screen ability of five clinical C. isolates intestinal origin and ATCC 33237 type strain oral colonize produce infection immunocompetent BALB/cA mice. The majority treated cyclophosphamide prior inoculation suppress immune functions. Inoculation was performed by gastric route. RESULTS: isolated from liver, ileum jejunum cyclophosphamide-treated experiment. No strains two subsequent experiments. Mice infected showed a significant loss body weight day through but this decreased at end week. Histopathological examination did not consistently find signs inflammation gut, occasionally microabscesses found liver animals. CONCLUSION: Transient colonization observed weight. Future studies should concentrate on few days after other
