摘要: Historically, Campylobacteriosis has been considered to be zoonotic; the Campylobacter species that cause human acute intestinal disease such as jejuni and coli originate from animals. Over past decade, studies on hosted strongly suggest concisus plays a role in development of inflammatory bowel (IBD). C. primarily colonizes oral cavity some strains can translocated tract. Genome analysis isolated saliva samples identified bacterial marker is associated with active Crohn's (one major form IBD). In addition concisus, humans are also colonized by number other species, most which cavity. Here we review recent advancements including their clinical relevance, transmission, virulence factors, genes, interactions immune system pathogenic mechanisms.
