摘要: Moderate consumption of red wine is associated with a lower incidence cardiovascular disease. Red polyphenols (RWP) have been proposed to be beneficial, but there lack evidence concerning the cerebrovascular effects RWP. We studied effect local administration RWP extract (10(-2) mg/mL) on diameter rat cerebral arterioles using an open cranial window technique in vivo. measured arteriolar and systemic blood pressure. Cerebral reacted concentration-dependently adenosine diphosphate [ADP, dilatation EC50 5.3 x 10(-5) M (95% confidence interval: 3.1 9.0 10 M(-5))], NG-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester [L-NAME, constriction 5.8 10(-9) CI: 2.5 1.4 10(-8) M)]. sodium nitroprusside [SNP, 1.0 10(-6) 9.2 10(-7) 1.1 enhanced vasodilation induced by ADP (10(-4) M) from 17 +/- 2% 29 4% reversed L-NAME-induced vasoconstriction did not affect SNP-induced vasodilation. Systemic hypotension hemorrhage caused myogenic dilation. further dilated (from -1 8 3%) 1 mL withdrawn. In summary, improved endothelium-dependent pressure-induced arterioles. This could beneficial improving flow under ischemic condition.
