摘要: The "acidic mantle" of the skin surface has been related to several essential functions skin, although origin acidity is still obscure. In this paper, we investigate how different transport processes can influence local proton concentration inside a membrane consisting oriented lipid bilayers. This system chosen as simple model extracellular lipids in upper layer stratum corneum. We present theoretical for diffusional over presence an osmotic gradient and CO(2), taking into account these gradients on structure electrostatics. are also discussing complications applying concept pH From this, make following conclusions: (i) definition corneum ambiguous, thus, all statements regarding should always be clear definition. (ii) A natural proposed which takes heterogeneity, charges, fact that not thermodynamical equilibrium. (iii) Diffusive across bilayer stack and/or CO(2) give rise substantial pH. (iv) results from simplified correlated experimental observations
