摘要: The paper develops a replacement action decision aid for key furnace component subject to condition monitoring. A state space model is used predict the erosion of inductors in an induction which measure conductance ratio (CR) indirectly assess relative inductors, and guide decisions. This study seeks improve on this process by establishing relationship between CR inductors. To establish such relationship, has been established system parameters estimated from data. cost balance at any time costly replacements with possible catastrophic failure also proposed based upon predicted probability inductor conditional all available information. well known Kalman filter employed derive updated level data date. first monitoring modelled real plant filtering theory. fits well, gives sensible answer actual problem, transferable other contexts. Possible extensions are discussed paper.
