摘要: The Raf/MEK/ERK signaling was the first MAP kinase cascade to be characterized. It is probably one of most well known signal transduction pathways among biologists because its implication in a wide variety cellular functions as diverse -and occasionally contradictory- cell proliferation, cell-cycle arrest, terminal differentiation and apoptosis. Discovery understanding this pathway have benefited from combination both genetic studies worms flies biochemical mammalian cells. However, ten years after, field still under debate new molecular partners continue increase complexity regulation. This review deals with emergence concepts activation regulation module. In particular, preponderant role B-Raf underlined, novel regulators such KSR discussed.
