摘要: Ferrimagnetic microspheres 20-30 microm in diameter are useful as thermoseeds for inducing hyperthermia cancers, especially tumors located deep inside the body. The entrapped capillary bed of when they implanted through blood vessels and heat cancers locally by their hysteresis loss placed under an alternating magnetic field. In present study, preparation magnetite (Fe(3)O(4)) was attempted melting powders high-frequency induction thermal plasma, precipitation from aqueous solution. prepared plasma were composed a large amount Fe(3)O(4) small wustite (FeO), those subsequently treated at 600 degrees C 1 h 5.1 x 10(3) Pa fully size. saturation magnetization coercive force heat-treated 92 emu g(-1) 50 Oe, respectively. generation estimated to be 10 Wg(-1), 300 Oe 100 kHz. solution consisted beta-FeOOH, 400 70% CO(2) + 30% H(2) atmosphere crystals nm 53 156 41 latter believed promising hyperthermic treatment cancer.
