摘要: Abstract In this paper, the utility of ion-exchange displacement chromatography for concentration and enrichment trace proteins is examined. Separations with varying displacer concentrations (1–25 mM neomycin sulfate) indicate that higher result in elevated protein concentrations, at price reduced yields. The results demonstrate carried out relatively low (2.5 mM) can produce significant (8.5-fold) (18-fold) present feed. Parametric simulations using steric mass action model are to investigate effects factors observed over a wide range feed, buffer counter-ion solute separation factors. confirm components be readily concentrated enriched by these will more pronounced as factor between abundant increased. presented paper potential improved separations where critical such proteomic applications.
