摘要: Summary Objective To investigate the incidence and importance of isolated persistent right umbilical vein (PRUV) in our obstetric population to determine role three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound prenatal diagnosis PRUV. Materials Methods A total 1,302 women who received regular antenatal care by a sole obstetrician at hospital were prospectively evaluated between July 2003 April 2005. Detailed anatomical evaluation fetus was performed one sonographer. When PRUV made, it confirmed senior obstetrician. 3D with power Doppler applied delineate local anatomy. Echocardiography all newborns pediatric cardiologists confirm evaluate for presence associated anomalies. Results Six fetuses detected among study subjects. The 0.46% (1:217 live births). Vascular anatomy easy demonstrate using Doppler. ductus venous (DV) present six fetuses. An atrial septal defect shown exist four neonatal echocardiography, but spontaneous closure had occurred follow-up scan. Conclusion is common vascular anomaly that be overlooked. Reconstruction portal system affected facilitated identification DV. If DV present, other anomalies are excluded, has good outcome.
