摘要: Beta-casein is a secretory protein contained in milk. Mammary epithelial cells (MECs) synthesize and secrete β-casein during lactation. However, it remains unclear how the secretion pathway developed after parturition. In this study, we focused on prolactin (PRL), epidermal growth factor (EGF), glucocorticoids, which increase blood plasma milk around MECs cultured with PRL, EGF dexamethasone (DEX: glucocorticoid analog) pathway. absence of hardly expressed β-casein. enhanced expression presence PRL DEX. DEX treatment rapidly increased secreted concurrent enhancing expression. also up-regulated SNARE proteins, such as SNAP-23, VAMP-8 Syntaxin-12. Furthermore, regulated ratio αs1-, β- κ-casein. These results indicate that glucocorticoids have distinct roles establishment
