摘要: Abstract: Most species of wetland-dependent organisms live in multiple local populations sustained through occasional migration. Retention minimum wetland densities human-dominated landscapes is fundamental to conserving these organisms. An analysis mosaics was performed for two regions the northeastern United States assess degree which historical loss alters metrics and potential future effects mediated by differently structured regulations. These analyses indicated that profound reductions density proximity are associated with increased human protections all wetlands >1 acre (0.4 ha) likely required retain minimally sufficient sustain biota.
