Enhancing stem cell survival in vivo for tissue repair.

摘要: The ability to use progenitor cells for regenerative medicine remains an evolving but elusive clinical goal. A serious obstacle towards widespread of stem tissue regeneration is the challenges that face these when they are placed in vivo into a wound therapy. These environments hypoxic, acidic, and have upregulation inflammatory mediators creating region hostile cellular survival. Within this environment, majority undergo apoptosis prior participating lineage differentiation integration. In order maximize utility cells, strategies must be employed increase cell's survive through manipulation both cell surrounding environment. This review focuses on current advances techniques being used survival purpose regeneration.
