摘要: OBJECTIVE : Copeptin is a pre - cursor of AVP, an antidiuretic hormone, plays pivotal role in the maintenance cardiovascular homeostasis. Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) related to disease. We sought evaluate serum copeptin levels newly diagnosed prehypertensive patients with OSAS. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Eighty-four prehy pertensive were evaluated using polysomnography and divided into two groups, OSAS (n = 41) group control 43) group. Serum mea sured ELISA method. RESULTS: significantly high er compared con trol (146 (93-739) pg/ml vs. 111 (33-253) pg/ml, respectively, p < 0.001). A regression analysis revealed that hypopnea index (AHI) lowest SpO 2 (unstandardized β 1.02 ± 0.40, 0.014 uns tandardized -3.1 0.9, 0.048 respectively).
