摘要: Abstract Objective Inconsistent findings have reported the association between self-reported habitual snoring and risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) all-cause mortality. We conducted a meta-analysis to investigate whether was an independent predictor for CVD mortality using prospective observational studies. Methods Electronic literature databases (PubMed, Medline, Embase, Cochrane Library, Wanfang database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure) were searched publications prior September 2013. Only studies evaluating baseline subsequent selected. Pooled adjust hazard (HR) corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CI) calculated categorical estimates. Results Eight with 65,037 subjects analyzed. HR 1.26 (95% CI 0.98–1.62) CVD, 1.15 1.05–1.27) coronary heart (CHD), 1.11–1.43) stroke comparing non-snorers. 0.98 0.78–1.23) in random effect model Habitual appeared increase greater among men (HR 1.54; CI: 1.09–2.17) than those women 1.22; 1.05–1.41). Conclusions Self-reported is mild but statistically significant factor CHD, not However, attributable obstructive sleep apnea syndrome or alone remains controversial.
