摘要: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a disorder which afflicts large number of individuals around the world. OSA causes sleepiness and major cardiovascular risk factor. Since its inception in early 1980's, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) has emerged as treatment OSA, it been shown to improve sleepiness, hypertension, indices. Despite successes, adherence with remains limitation. Herein we will review evidence behind use (PAP) therapy, various modes, methods employed adherence. We also discuss future PAP therapy personalization care.
