摘要: In humans, phenylalanine stimulates plasma cholecystokinin (CCK) and pyloric pressures, both of which are important in the regulation energy intake gastric emptying. Gastric emptying is a key determinant postprandial blood glucose. We evaluated effects intragastric on appetite perceptions subsequent intake, glycaemic response to, of, mixed-nutrient drink. The study consisted two parts, each including 16 healthy, lean males (age: 23 ± 1 years). part, participants received three separate occasions, randomised, double-blind fashion, 5 g (Phe-5 g) or 10g ('Phe-10 L-phenylalanine, control, intragastrically, 30 min before standardised buffet-meal (part A), drink B). part A, CCK peptide-YY (PYY), perceptions, were measured at baseline, after alone, following buffet-meal, from was assessed. B, glucose, glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), insulin glucagon for 2 h also by 13C-acetate breath-test. Phe-10 g, but not Phe-5 stimulated (p = 0.01) suppressed 0.012); correlated with stimulation (r -0.4, p 0.027), tended to be associated PYY -0.31, 0.082). Both (all < 0.05), GLP-1. reduced overall glucose 0.043) peak 0.017) Phenylalanine had no effect conclusion, our observations indicate that intake-suppressant related PYY, while glucoregulatory may independent GLP-1 slowing
