摘要: Pressure ulcers are widely considered to be a critical problem in rehabilitation since they result severe discomfort and high healthcare cost. The prevention of pressure is constant preoccupation for every nursing team. This paper introduces novel handheld instrument that can detect subtle changes the skin biomechanical properties by measuring its response. could used stage-I deep tissue injury. Its bandwidth makes it possible load under wide range conditions. portable, inexpensive, intrinsically precise. Several experiments were conducted validate function device. Preliminary results show device effectively measure difference viscoelasticity between human different sites, hence paving way development clinical protocols trials.
