摘要: Prevention of pressure ulcer (PU) has been hampered for a long time by limitations present risk assessment methodologies carers. This paper introduces novel solution portable bioimpedance spectrometer (BIS), which is designed to detect in vivo subtle changes electrical properties tissues at the portentous onset PU and thereby establish reliable method early detection PU. The principle modified tetrapolar applied BIS system designing methodology are explained thoroughly this paper. can measure complex impedance human over wide range frequencies from 10 Hz 1 MHz based on direct digital synthesis (DDS) technique. Different conventional measuring systems phase sensitive detection, new shows its integrity theoretical analysis simplicity practical implementation. As an objective, fast, straightforward, inexpensive technique that captures fundamentally different information than subjective optical judgment, may bring clinical use future
