摘要: Abstract During the long-term in vitro maintenance of an epithelial cell line established from rat duodenum (IEC-17) we have observed progressive morphological changes which, after approximately 4–5 months culture, led to a loss substrate adherence and formation organoid structures characterized by organized layers cells separated continuous extracellular-like material delimiting close lumina. The exhibited defined polarity with deposition extracellular matrix components on one side development microvilli opposite surface. did not appear be expression spontaneous transformation since retained normal diploid karyotype grow soft agar. In this report present optical electron microscopical characterization organotypic differentiation line. Further studies are currently progress characterize during process differentiation.
