摘要: The diagnosis of AD is still largely based on exclusion criteria secondary causes and other forms dementia with similar clinical pictures, than the diagnostic accuracy low. Improved methods early are needed, particularly because drugs treatment more effective in stages disease. Recent research focused attention to biochemical markers (biomarkers) according proposal a consensus group biomarkers, three candidate CSF reflecting pathological processes, have recently been identified: total tau protein (t-tau), amyloid beta(1-42) (A beta42), phosphorylated at AD-specific epitopes (p-tau). Several articles report reduced levels A beta42 increased t-tau p-tau AD; sensitivity specificity these data able for discrimination patients from controls. However, dementias According literature analysis reported present review, we can conclude that combination their ratios may significantly increase diagnosis.
