摘要: The responsibilities of the anesthesiologist continue beyond administration anesthesia through early recovery period when postanesthetic problems are most likely to occur. Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) provides an appropriate setting detect and treat complications. It is also ideal location for procedures which may be necessary in immediate postoperative period, such as removal airways or endotracheal tubes, insertion intravascular catheters, chest control pain.
