摘要: The DNA binding with one finger (Dof) proteins are plant-specific transcription factors that contain a particular class of zinc-finger DNA-binding domain. Thirty-different Dof genes predicted to exist in the rice genome based on silico analysis. A member factor family, Dof1 (Oryza sativa), was identified from dissociation (Ds) insertion mutant population. Ds-tagged line osdof1-Ds population tagged promoterless β-glucuronidase (GUS) T-DNA, and showed wound-responsive GUS expression. Genomic Southern analysis revealed this contained single copy Ds gene trap. Four wound-response-like cis-acting elements (PI-II, EIRE, W box, G box-like elements) were found OsDof1 promoter region. To analyze elements, we constructed fusion between reporter transformed Arabidopsis plants these constructs. expression induced leaf, seed, culm, flower tissues after wounding. Furthermore, histochemical promoter::GUS transgenic an early response In addition, OsDof1 mRNA by pathogen treatment. These results suggest is transcriptional activator regulates
