摘要: Abstract The effects of two calcium channel blockers (verapamil and flunarizine) were evaluated on the naloxone-precipitated syndrome in morphine-dependent rats. withdrawal signs saline-treated rats mainly diarrhea, body weight loss, jumping ptosis. On i.p. administration, verapamil flunarizine prevented diarrhea loss but not jumping. Verapamil also reduced incidence ptosis at highest dose tested (40 mg/kg). Administered i.c.v., 160 μg number jumps without modifying or results show that inhibit morphine abstinence manifestations through both peripheral central mechanisms.
