摘要: White adipose tissue consists of adipocytes embedded in a connective matrix and includes well-organized vasculature nerve supply. Though principal feature is to store release energy, it also regulates cellular function tissues/organs such as skeletal muscle, liver, brain. This regulation occurs, at least part, through endocrine-mediated mechanisms that involve the synthesis, processing, secretion biologically active proteins or adipokines. Impairments energy storage, mobilization, secretory white are characteristic obesity.
