摘要: White adipose tissue consists of adipocytes embedded in a connective matrix and includes well-organized vasculature nerve supply. Though principal feature is to store release energy, it also regulates cellular function tissues/organs such as skeletal muscle, liver, brain. This regulation occurs, at least part, through endocrine-mediated mechanisms that involve the synthesis, processing, secretion biologically active proteins or adipokines. Impairments energy storage, mobilization, secretory white are characteristic obesity. Although leading these impairments complex, an increasing body literature points involvement endoplasmic reticulum (ER), subcellular organelle involved lipid synthesis protein processing.
