摘要: The effects of cimetidine, a new histamine H2-receptor antagonist, on the development experimental gastric and duodenal ulcers were studied. It was found that either by oral, intraduodenal, or intraperitoneal route this agent had marked inhibitory activity stress-, aspirin-, indomethacin-, histamine-induced in rats guinea pigs. cimetidine indomethacin-induced dose-dependent many cases. Pylorus-ligation uclers, reserpine- serotonin-induced little influenced cimetidine. Duodenal induced continuous infusion carbachol-histamine significantly inhibited simultaneous An analysis contents pylorus-ligated after stressing indicated decreased volume acid output as result intraduodenal treatment. In contrast, exerted influence secretion treated with aspirin pigs histamine. Thus, mechanism action preventing is likely to occur suppression secretory function ulcer model but other unknown ulcerogenic factors models.
