摘要: Abstract THE appearance of olive colored yolks in eggs laid by hens fed cottonseed meal was reported 1917 Lamon and Lee. This discoloration ranges, according to Heywang, Denton Bird (1949), from green or light chocolate brown nearly black. Earlier work indicates that the coloration developed because free gossypol meals (Heywang, Altshul, 1955). However, Frampton, Piccolo Heywang (1961), recently there poor correlation between intensity yolk content fed. It is apparent these reports attributed may be due a combination other factors with gossypol. That pH has an effect on chromogen well known.
