摘要: Antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory actions of tea-leaf saponin, which was a mixture saponin separated from leaves Camellia sinensis var. sinensis, were investigated. Tea-leaf showed relatively high antimicrobial activity against pathogenic dermal fungi its MIC value for Microsporum audouinii 10 microgam/ml. On the other hand, inhibited rat paw edema induced by carrageenin in dose dependent manner. Activation hyaluronidase, one enzymes involved inflammatory reactions, saponin. It also found that antagonized action leukotrien D4, chemical mediators reactions. Any symptom toxic reaction not observed when administered orally to mice at 2000 mg/kg.
